Oluwatoyin Selere (Mrs) is the Practice Administrator at Abdu-Salaam Abbas & Co. Prior to joining the firm, she obtained her first degree in Science. As a geologist, she worked for twelve years at Baker Hughes Nigeria Limited, a top-tier oilfield service Company with a century long record of accomplishment.
She was self-employed for another ten years and took interest in giving back to the society by studying PGDE in Education. Her practice areas cuts across staff mentoring, teaching and leadership training.
She later obtained her LL.B in Law from the National Open University of Nigeria and has completed her Bar Part 1 Programme at the Nigerian Law School.
She possesses experience in startup practice administration and developing administration departments with skills and experience in strategic practice administration, job evaluation, recruitment, employee benefit, culture and diversity management, performance management, employee relations, training, and development.
She is skilled in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Publisher, and team building. She is result oriented and very proactive.
She continuously strives to enhance her skills and has mastered a variety of valuable abilities, including complex problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, people management, coordination, emotional intelligence, judgment and decision making, service orientation, resilience and learning agility.
She is very keen on continuous professional development and spends her spare time reading or attending trainings on critical thinking, creativity, people management, emotional intelligence and learning agility.
She setup an NGO in July 2019—Inspire Little Minds Foundations through which she and her family support the educational development of economically challenged children and inmates of correction centres. The foundation has sponsored several students to sit for the secondary school leaving certificate examination in Ogun State.
